hello sweet friends, how are you? have you noticed that it is already the middle of the week? i have been so busy these last days… oh my… time seems to fly away, but not with me… instead he flies away from me! yesterday i read this {post} by my friend heather and made me think a while. i wish i could have more time to sit quietly in the silence with a cup of tea on my hands and think… think about the places in between and the places not in between. do you ever feel like that?
well, enough with this, today is one of those perfect days to explore talents… talents found in etsy, where i find most of these wednesday’s treasures! etsy is just this huge source of inspiration, talented artists, designers, collectors… i could spend hours on etsy just going back and forth. a few weeks ago i found this lady on etsy, although i had met her on flickr… and decided it would be a good guest for today!
“hi, i’m meike. born 1968 in germany. i’m a graphic designer, webdesigner and self-taught photographer. i like to do pictures of people and things, in different situations and mostly with natural lights. i love my work and try to learn more and more about it each day. it makes me happy to let people smile trough my work and i try to pass the smooth and cherishing way i see the life to others.”

i hope you pay a visit to lady meike, because she is an incredible photographer for someone that has been self-taught… this always amazes me, because i keep finding self-taughters that are so amazingly talented! you can find more of meike’s photography in her {flickr stream}… and of course… why not take some of this preciousness {home}? oh wait, do not go yet… in a couple of hours, we will have the third of {blogging… by bloggers} interviews… with tara gentile… so grab a cup of tea and sit quietly! do you wish for something to entertain yourself while waiting?
