and here we are for one lovely interview with some unexpected questions made to a very lovely guest. her name is alice and i have came across her photography in flickr and was involved by her delicate mood… almost romantic sometimes… always elegant and with that makes you feel you are watching an old movie. and i love to watch old movies.
and now it is alice’s turn…
number :: 23
i think the meaningful number choice would be 23 because that is the upcoming year for me and i have all these goals floating around that are no where near organized or concrete even. some are very within reach and others may be overfly lofty. of course i want to continue to see the world with my camera and take as many sights as i can of this city. i want to be better at keeping in touch with my college friends. i specially want to do things out of my comfort zone more frequently. i want to be a better blogger and keep producing content that will hopefully inspire some readers and at least provide entertainment for others. i hope i’ll be persistent in reaching my goals and that reaching them or getting close to them will provide me the kind of happiness and meaning that no shopping sprees ever could!
letter :: h
i will choose the word {human}. it is something i often have to remind myself that we all are. no one is infallible and that is just fine. and beautiful even.
a perfect day is when…
i wake up to a room full of fresh flowers soaking up the morning light, then make the perfect french press pot of coffee and sip it while reading my favourite magazine {real simple}. maybe i’ll pause to take a picture or two of the scene. after some lounging around, i’ll put on a feel-good outfit, strap on a camera (or two) and head out to a cafe on my list to try. after more caffeine (probably a cappuccino or cortado) and something sweet, i’ll meet up with a small grouo of friends and catch up while shopping or just walking around the city. at night, maybe i’ll enjoy a dinner with a special someone or have drinks with friends. and finally, it would be lovely to sit somewhere near a body of water and get lost in conversation until the wee hours of morning.
one thing i would love to learn is…
how to tie a cherry stem into a knot with my tongue.
would you rather be an english woman in new york or a new yorker in england?
i think i’d want to be an english woman in new york. this way i get to have an alluring/charming accent in america rather than a potentially “obnoxious” american accent in england!
and this was all about dreamy photostreams and dreamy days… i hope you will take your time to explore {alice’s} stream… and her {blog}. because her pictures on her blog about beautiful cafes… are to die for. i would love to visit each and every one of those… sit for long hours, drinking a cup of coffee… and watching people go by on the street. it is all about new york… and you know how much i love new york.
happy thursday and… do you have any plans for this weekend? i do. but i will only let you know tomorrow!
