{a portuguese life
since… always}
one of my favourite shops in this city is one that reminds me of my childhood… and i believe that if my parents visited this store… it would remind them of their childhood as well.
considered one of the most original stores in lisbon, {a vida portuguesa} is a vintage movie… and you can just walk in and represent your role. this store was born because someone believed that vintage portuguese products did have a future. and i believe that that someone was completely right.
you can find vintage books… chalkboards pieces… small black swallows… traditional soaps… tooth brush… pencils… everyhting in this store lived in 1960… 1970… 1980… and they can live in 2010 in our lovely homes, to bring us that smile when reminding our father’s perfume when we were getting ready in the morning.
{all pictures were edited due to the lack of natural light inside. colours may be a little more vibrant when in real}
if perhaps you happen to be in lisbon, do not miss this store. it is located in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods… chiado. after that you can also have a drink right next door in {kaffeehaus}, which has delicious meals.
i hope you have enjoyed this sneak-peek over another corner in lisbon!
have a sweet day… it is tuesday!!!

If you're in Lisbon don't miss it! I've already paid it a visit and fell in love with the space, the atmosphere and the products…
Como deves saber, agora também temos uma "irmã" desta loja aqui no Porto :) não sei se conheces o espaço, mas convido-te a ler o post que escrevi sobre ele aqui:
