hello sweet friends! how are you? how was your weekend? tell me everything! my weekend was (again!) very, very good… full of sun, sea water, sand… good food and mainly, excellent company… as only family & friends can be!
this is a very special day for me & for {…a place for twiggs}… because {apft} was born one year ago!
{…a place for twiggs} was born with one thought in my mind. i wanted a place where i could write, because, asides from the fact that writing was always a very important thing for me… i felt the need to express my feelings, mainly because i felt a little bit loss. loss in the world. i was feeling that i hadn’t find my place in the world. i had a few dreams, but somehow it was very difficult to me to feel organized in order to accomplish them. i was feeling helpless in following those dreams.
{our path… that sometimes feels so blurry}
so… first i felt the need to wait until the right name popped in my head. and that moment came when {…a place for twiggs} felt the proper name for a place where i could write & reflect about feelings and moments that i had to deal with. but first, it was a private place. until one moment i decided to not feel shy anymore and share my thoughts.
so, the first sharing thoughts were considering dreams… clues… paths… feelings. this was the begining of what i call now some of my {random} stories. then something started slowly to change… i was feeling the need to have something else to share… something that involved working the relationships i was building everyday.
one of my favourite things in flickr… is networking. i can not describe what i feel by knowing so many interesting people that have been so inspiring in my life… that have been truly the ones inspiring me in exploring my own creativity. i have said {thank you} a few times. and now i think i might have to thank once again.

besides this, i was feeling the need to share more about these interesting and unique hearts & minds. why not share experiences? why not share a few moments in our lives… if those moments would inspire and spread strength throughout the words?
so… this {place} started to let go of the intimate part of sharing feelings & doubts, to become something much more positive and uplifting… happy… and that is the way i see {…a place for twiggs}. that is why {apft} has several columns & interviews. that is why…
…were born, each one in a specific moment. asides these… {apft} still has its {random} stories… with… random stories from my daily life.
some of the first posts were moved from {apft} & saved in a private place, because due to the exposure of this place… i still want to make some of those previous feelings & thoughts private. so… if you have written some nice words for me… do not worry, as they are safe… in my heart (and in black, rectangular thing i own…that connects to my laptop).
so… it is time to say {thank you}.
