hello sweet friends! how are you? how was your first day this week? hope it was really good… i was a bit tired, actually… but let us hope that time flies as it has been usual, and in a glimpse of an eye, we will be celebrating friday!
so, yesterday was a celebration day, because {apft} was born one year ago, and i am deeply happy & proud of my work. it is a matter of faith, just like a friend of mine on flickr spoke about today. we really must believe in something. it is faith. and for starters, i believe in my work.
and also to keep on news about {apft}, i shall present you another feature :: {apft believes in}, a supporting feature that will share amazing but yet small on sales artists. the first one was concerning one other goal, besides supporting, as joy st. claire is dealing with a huge vet bill, due to the sad fact that maggie (joy’s joyful dog) felt really sick on 4th july. our hopes & prayers were listenned as maggie is joyful again. however, the vet bill is huge… so this is a way to support {joy st. claire} work.
today {apft} started on supporting {natalie french photography}. i truly hope you give a sneak-peek on her work, as it is truly a delight.
but, let us focus on the main subject today… & today we have {sneak-peek :: photography} with a very, but very interesting photographer. one day, i saw her one picture of her… then another… then all her stream. an immediate fan, i must confess. (and now you are thinking “she writes this about all artists!”well… true! but i only invite artists whose work i believe, follow & which i truly admire)
so… this lady has a very interesting name. it starts with “ar” (which means air in portuguese) and goes of with “lyne”… which is very fresh!
{arlyne vanhook} is our lovely guest today and she calls herself photographer & musician.
{if life throws you a lemon, make lemonade. joan collins}
she starts her profile information with a very simple sentence…
“i’m in love with photography!”
{for you}
“i hope that through this great venture of mine that i’m able to show glimpse of how i see things but inspired through the eyes of god.”
{treasure}
“the love of the arts has been instilled in me since the first moment i laid eyes on my dad’s oil pantings as a young little girl. i would sit and watch him stroke the canvass with beautiful colors and i loved seeing the sunset or mountains come to live as he did so.”
{the future is…}
“through out my life the world of arts has been a big part of who i am but in music and dance. it’s only been 8 months since i have begun the journey of photography and i just can’t get enough of it as i dig deep into the history of it and mechanics of it.”
{stillness}
“it gives me great joy to bring joy to others through the wonderful art of photography!”
{the journey}
{going square}
i believe i fell in love with these shoes, as soon as i saw this. this seemed to me so lovely, so bright, so elegant & romantic…
{it’s explore!}
i also believe in her work, because as you can see, she is an amazing & sensitive artist. the details and colours chosen… the settings… the shades… they seem to take us to a journey. a dreamy journey.
i would like to thank arlyne for being a guest and for being always so nice to me with her kind words of encouragement for my own work. she is an inspiring artist for me.
you can say hello to arlyne here!
admire her work & leave a few nice words here!
why not write her a few words of encouragement & appreciation here?
and this is it, dear friends!
did you like it? just let me know!
