{random} stories :: change

May 17, 2010 filed under: hello twiggs personal, random stories

(really really sweet weekend!!)

Well… this is a new one, a post without feelings!! Change is coming!! First, I’m feeling happy and I had a great weekend!
Second… I had so many ideas this weekend, I’m just trying to put them in the right order, so that everything works perfectly! Not that I wish for perfection… already wrote something about “being just fine”!

{Can I just tell you something very very very girly? I did my nails an hour ago, in the most fabulous colour (so summer-ish!!) and I’m still writing like a weirdo, with my fingers all stretched! ok, I’m done with my girly detail!}

So… this post is about change! Change because I have news!

This blog will officially become something else besides discovering and exploring feelings and emotions! Not that I will end with those subjects (I’m graduated in psychology, how could I end that?), but these last months of Flickring and meeting all these great (mostly) women, mothers, artists, designers… have served a goal I didn’t know about – exploring myself, through the creative point of view.

This has been a real {insight} for me.

So, this is a way to officially announce the new project {number’s editorial}!

{first collection!}

What is “Number’s Editorial”?
Number’s Editorial will be a monthly interview with someone I will invite.

And…
And every month I will pick a number from 1 – 100, that will represent years of age, and that person will share memories or plans/wishes concerning that age. Besides sharing that memory or plan/wish, that someone will be also invited to share some thoughts about a word that will be chosen by alphabetical order.

So, who will be the first person invited?
Now, that’s a secret!! That person will receive a mail explaining everything… and of course, is obviously free to say no

Was there any special inspiration for this project?

Most certainly there was an inspiration… well, not one, but several! A few weeks ago I posted an image of a calendar made by numbers photographed individually, that was decorating a wall… and asides loving that picture/idea, it was also a sucess among my friends in Flickr! So, I kept thinking about numbers, numbers, numbers… and every time I saw a number I would think about these friends (Hello Ivy! Hello Helen!). Furthermore, I was wishing for some interactivity on my blog… asides sharing my thoughts and emotions, I would like to invite friends to shre something too. Well, yesterday when jogging by the river, it hit me! Why not choose a number and invite someone to share something about that number as an age reference?

And this is it!

By the way… {number’s editorial} will be “on air” every three weeks… always posted on fridays!

Happy Numbers!!

    Hello there Blue Mist!
    Thank you for your words! They are very kind to me!

    I hope you did your nails and/or toes, because with Mr. Sun here we really need to match with him! :)

    Concerning the postcard… well they are just pictures taken individually. I just took these as I was randomly passing by them on Sunday afternoon! Then… Flickr Toys gave a hand! :)

    I hope I helped!

    :)
